Template:Infobox session Our intrepid Knights, Dania and Sliver of Straw, and their Hatchling, Rester, ventured to the port city of Faecûn, searching for one of the Parts of Seven. Their contact, Charles Ven, had potential information on the location of a Part of Seven. In exchange for their help, he would give them his information.

He told them to meet him at the Yardarm Tavern in the Port district of Faecûn. As our group arrived, a tavern brawl was beginning to break out. Acting quickly, Dania cast a sleep spell and put all the participants to sleep before it had gotten out of hand. Going in, they met the owner and proprietor of the Yardarm, Samantha Schwab. After some small talk, Dania asked Samantha if she knew Charles Ven. Saying she didn't, she offered them a table and a round of drinks on the house for taking care of the brawl, and to wait for him as long as they needed.

After what felt like years to Sliver, he asked Samantha if she knew anything about the rod. She said if he was looking for rods, the best place to go was Rod's Rod Emporium. With a location, Sliver set off to investigate, with Rester in tow. A few minutes after Sliver and Rester left, Charles arrived and sat down with Dania to discuss what he wanted before he parted with this information. His dog, Dog, had been taken by the local sect of the thieves' guild, and he wanted them to get Dog back. Charles gave Dania the location of a building in the Forestay district that he thought was one of their safe houses, and he left to carry on with his day. Meanwhile, Sliver and Rester found Rod's Rod Emporium and went in to inquire about a Part of Seven. Rod, telling them he has a great many rods, was little more than a fishing equipment merchant. After signing up for his mailing list and buying a telescoping fishing rod, Sliver left Rod with a card, detailing instructions on how to contact Sliver or the Order if Rod heard anything about the Rod of Seven Parts. Returning to the Yardarm, Dania informed Sliver and Rester what they needed to do if they wanted Charles' information.

Our Knights and Hatchling headed to the building that Charles mentioned and began to stake it out from the roof of the building opposite it. After an hour of watching, Rester boldly tried to walk in and was met with hostility from the three men in the building. Sliver decided to fence his fishing rod to them, trying to pass it off that he just stole it. Getting some gold for it, he was quickly kicked out and returned to his companions with a plan in mind. He caused a distraction outside the building and took a massive bird shit on the one who came out to investigate. Enraged, he chased after Sliver as he flew off. Dania and Rester seizing the opportunity went in and quickly subdued those remaining in the building. Eventually, the one chasing Sliver gave up and started making his way back to the building. Beating him there, Sliver helped subdue the returning fence.

After the three men were tied up, our group began to search the building. They eventually found a barrel that was bolted to the floor, within it was a false bottom. Descending below, they found the real safe house. Seeing four dogs in cages, it seemed they may have found what they needed. While subduing those within the safe house, one of the thieves managed to release the four dogs and had them attack our adventurers.

After a vicious battle, our adventurers managed to subdue everyone, including the dogs. Searching the rest of the safe house, they stumbled into an ambush. Quickly subduing two of their attackers, the third escaped through a secret door within a small closet.

Looking through the closet, Rester found a small chest and opened it, setting off a trap that dropped an ochre jelly right on them. Defeating the jelly, they found a strange sack that seemed to have no bottom. Ensuring the rest of the safe house was secure, our adventurers locked up everyone within the barracks and checked the name tags on the four dogs. Unsurprisingly, none of them were named Dog. Our adventurers made their way back to the Yardarm to rent some rooms for the evening. Sliver, being the lawful paladin he is, decided to inquire with Samantha about the nearest guard station.

With this information, he made his way there to inform the guards that they had cleared out a safe house and locked all the members of the thieves guild in the barracks below the building.

After a decent night's rest, they awoke and made their way down to the dining area of the tavern. Samantha waved them down and told them had a message from the guard for Sliver and that a letter arrived for Dania late in the evening.
