After a pleasant night's rest, our Aarakocra headed down to the dining area of the Yardarm and were greeted by Samantha. She forwarded Dania a letter from Charles Ven, passed along a message from the town guard to Sliver, and told Rester someone was waiting for him at one of the private tables in the back.

The message from the guard was short, telling Sliver they didn't find anyone below the building he specified, and that they don't like to be lead on wild goose chases.

Rester made his way over the private table, drew the curtain, and there sat Ravacaryn waiting for him. After a tense few moments, Sliver yelled across the bar to Rester about his new friend. Samantha, noticing Dania getting fed up with Sliver, gave her a coffee on the house. Eventually, Sliver made his way over to Rester and Ravacaryn to get properly introduced. Sliver, being his overly friendly self, made his way back to the bar and got himself an Irish coffee - who Irish is, nobody knows - and made small talk with Rester and Ravacaryn. Dania informed her companions that she had received a letter from Charles Ven and that he had forgotten he left his dog in Di'elver, in Mudahn. He did, however, follow through with their deal and told her of a lead in Forton, that an associate of his had heard a rumor a group of goblins found a cache of Aarakocra artifacts and that they had been harassing the townsfolk there. She didn't like it and felt that Charles was using them for his gain. After discussing for a few minutes if they should pursue Charles or this lead, the majority decided that lead was the best choice.

Before departing for Forton, our group did some shopping to gather supplies. Most notably Sliver bought two vials of perfume.

After a rather uneventful journey, they arrived in Forton and began discussing the next best plan of action. Overhearing the group mentioning goblins, a local passing by mentioned they should speak with Penelope Jelar, the unofficial mayor of Forton. Finding Penelope in the town square, helping everyone pack up for the evening, she mentioned that it was very likely the goblins would raid the village tonight. Hatching a quick plan to split up and watch different sections of the way into town from the forest, Dania managed to spot one and sent the signal to the others. Sliver, being the closest, made it to Dania and charged in, completely removing the leg from the goblin causing him to fall unconscious. After Rester and Ravacaryn arrived, they discussed if they should bandage the goblin and leave it in the forest to follow, or let Rester take a crack at interrogating it. Unilaterally, Sliver decided that he would bandage it and leave it in the forest to follow. After about 15 minutes of waiting, Sliver realized he wouldn't be able to see the goblin at all soon, and poured one of his vials of perfume onto it.

The perfume trail started to move, and our group began to follow. The trail lead through a clearing within the forest, containing seven statues and five fiends, followers of the Queen of Chaos, mortal enemies of the Order of Seven.
