Stumbled into group of fiends, at first unseen, Sliver started squawking at reflection drawing their attention

lore dump on dania about the multiversal war between law and chaos, and the origin of the rod of law (currently known as the rod of seven parts)

No way for fiends to reach the aarakocra, began summoning ritual, sliver thought it was an interpretive dance, decided to use new fishing rod to hook, shit, and drag big fiend

dania realize it was some sort of magic ritual, all heros began to take ranged attacks, dania did a firebolt, rester threw a flask of oil missing his intended target but hitting the center pedestal below the shimmering magic

shimmering magic began to appear in the center of the fiend's ritual

to try and disrupt ritual further, sliver moved full speed pulling the big fiend towards the other fiends in hopes of knocking some of them over, big fiend knocked over one little fiend and entered the shimmering magic, causing him to enter the forming portal and breaking the fishing line, sliver celebrates completely destroying big fiend

shortly after big fiend vanished, a giant wolfs head with spider pincers began to emerge from the opening portal, it shot a sticky glob of spider web at dania, wrapping her in it causing her to fall to ground, and spyder-fiend began reeling dania towards itself

rester lit and threw a torch onto the oil igniting it, causing damage to the web grappling dania,

fearing for dania, sliver shit in mouth of spyder-fiend to get its attention, dania managed to break free from the webs

spyder-fiend launched a sticky glob of webs at sliver, entangling him in webs, and the spyder-fiend reeled sliver towards itself

dania sleep spell happens somewhere around here

attacks against webs grappling sliver, spyder-fiend bit sliver and poisoned him, nearly killing him

little fiends nearly dealt with, one of two still standing strikes sliver bringing him to the brink of death

sliver, fearing the future for his friends if he falls here, makes one last push to stay alive, striking down the fiend that brought him to near death, and flys away to help from afar

rester manages to distract the last fiend supporting the ritual, causing it to end, sending the spyder-fiend back to the Abyss

group decides to tie up the remaining fiends for interrogation, sliver drops a coil of rope on one, dania secures the other

rester checks slivers work and sees that the rope was just placed in the fiends lap

while the fiends are being tied up, rester considers looking at the ruins, decideds against it, but considers it again before deciding to go check on slivers tying job, discovering sliver left the rope ion the fiends lap

fiends regain consciousness, dania knocks out the one she tied up so the group only has to deal with one conscious fiend for now

sliver decides to investigate the ruins and rester follows, finds lettering in auran on each plinth, written in a way that he could pronounce them, but not actual auran words

dania checks sliver and resters work to discover that the fiend had been using its claw to cut through the rope, she hog ties it to the tree before it can escape

dania spends some time to cast a spell allowing her to understand the literal meaning of any language she hears or reads

dania attempts to interrogate the fiend about what it was doing, but realizes that the fiend can't understand her

after a game of charades the group realizes these fiends might be too stupid to get any information from, and kill them

dania then goes to investigate the auran lettering on the plinths, discovering the outer plinths bear the names of the Generals of the Wind Dukes, and the center plinth contains the phrase "Though chaos reigns, let justice be done. Behold! Law is king."

even though the ruins seem incredibly old, the center plinth seems as though it were new, with a 2inch divot in the center on the otherwise flat surface

the group continues perusing the goblin through the forest, finding them making camp in an old abandoned watch tower

begin to devise a plan, dania attempts to hold slivers beak shut, sliver and rester fly off, sliver sits on one of the towers and issues a request for talks to be opened, rester watches from the skys

after a failed attempt, sliver finds a hole ion the roof of the tower he's on and tosses a torch in, illuminating a lone goblin and igniting some crates

sliver swoops in grabbing the goblin and taking him to a tree top

Xelk the goblin tells sliver that the goblins have been forced from their home in the underdark by the duergar

sliver offers to help these goblins if they stop attacking Forton, Xelk says he'll ask the boss

sliver returns xelk to the ground and xelk rushes in to the main part of the outpost, gathering some goblins and buckets to put out the fire

after the fire is dealt with, xelk heads in to talk with the boss about the groups offer

fearing a double cross, dania disguises self to look like a goblin and goes in after xelk to listen at the door

dania hears the boss, xelk, and the newly one-legged goblin called phil discussing this offer

phil is against getting their help because of his lost leg, but xelk is convinced they are trustworthy

boss tells phil to fuck off, and agrees to meet with the aarakocra, after phil has left boss tells one of the other goblins in the room to "deal" with phil

dania drops her disguise after xelk has left and enters the room with the boss, begins negotiations

xelk heads out and calls to sliver sayin that he can come and speak to the boss

sliver lands, startling some of the other goblins outside, and begins talking with sliver, rester lands not long after

dania mentions to the boss that the group is looking for the rod of seven parts, boss mentions they have a rod that could be what the group is looking for, sends one of his lackeys to get it

sliver is lead in, rester stays outside to keep watch

sliver walks in on the boss and dania right as dania is being shown the rod, sliver asks to investigate

sliver doesn't think it a part of the rod of seven parts, dania takes it and begins to cast identify while sliver discusses more on the duergar matter

dania learns that this item is an immovable rod, presses the button and demonstrates it to everyone

boss offers the immovable rod as a show of good faith, and offers the group more if they succeed on helping the goblins retake their home

boss lets the group look at the other items the goblins have to show that there is more, somehow another object is offered if the group deals with phil, the group decides to take a hat of disguise
