Template:Infobox session Giving chase to the fleeing Emerald Claw, our adventurers hurried the Stormwind after them. Their enemy had managed to run ashore on the beach beneath Vorgaard's Estate an hour ahead of them, and our adventurers could see thick black smoke rising from the estate.
Hurrying up the mountain to Vorgaard's home, they found that a group of Emerald Claw soldiers are waiting for them. They offered our intrepid adventurers a choice, give them The Dragon's Eye and go back, or have their corpses burned in the inferno. Seizing the opportunity, our bard Georgy of the Jangle plucked another bead from his necklace and decimated a fair amount of the soldiers with the ensuing fireball, though not as many as he had hoped. As they finished off the last of the Emerald Claw soldiers, a savage roar erupted from behind them, two ogre mages made their presence known. Caught off guard, the mages managed to place Nexa and Georgy into a magical sleep, leaving Konrad on his own. Fearing for his friend's lives, he made his last stand in the doorway to the estate. Things seemed to be going against Konrad, but with a few lucky blows, he managed to defeat both ogres and awaken his friends.
With the estate burning, they quickly searched the doors within the entry hall, claiming some of the treasures that the rooms held. Quickly pressing forward, they're greeted by an old friend, Dura ir'Matellan, the woman who demanded that they give her the Dragon's Eye back in Q'barra. Wasting no time, Georgy plucked yet another bead from his necklace leaving him with one if this old bard's memory recalls true, and cast it at Dura and the two undead servants with her, killing the undead. Dura, at the same time, threw a black bead up into a huge preserved squid, bringing it to life.
Dura, extremely weakened from the fireball, was no match for our adventurers, attempted to flee again, but was stopped by Nexa with an expert shot from her bow. Fearful of stepping under the squid, our adventurers chipped away at it until it took its last swing. Uncertain of where to head next, they split up. Konrad decided the best door to look in would be the door in front of him, in which he found the library, along with some cultists of the Blood of Vol. With the cultist moving towards him, Konrad did the one thing he knows best, charged into battle. Nexa and Georgy hearing the sounds and screams of battle, hurried to Konrad's aid. The three of them dispatched the cultists with ease, and managed to retrieve their goal, the journal of Eliam ir'Veldras.
Inside were details on Eliam's expedition to the isle of Trebaz Sinara, where he believed the Sarlonan explorer Jheamhast's tomb was. Eliam recruited fifteen of the best adventurers and mercenaries he could and they set out. Eliam had chartered an airship, but it was brought down inland on the island by a fierce storm, killing the crew and half his expedition force. By the time Eliam had found the tomb, only he and an artificer, Thraxis who Eliam described as "twitchy and cantankerous", remained. Trying to enter the tomb proved to be impossible, as it was blocked by a stone column with numerous runes and symbols resembling dragonmarks inscribed upon it. Thraxis, only being able to interpret some of these, copied them down in the hope of returning to civilization to decipher the rest. Unable to get past this column, Eliam and Thraxis made their escape to the shore of the island, which Eliam charted carefully in his journal. In the last entry, which seems to have been written some years after Eliam's time on the island, Eliam laments how Thraxis managed to obtain this journal and removed many pages, mostly those pertaining to the runes and dragonmarks. As such, the party seemed to the path to the tomb, but no way to get past the stone column at the entrance.
