Into the Jungle

The party suddenly hear a voice, clearly from a gnome, come from all around them. The gnome requested the group to head to Kern's Rest and Revelry in the morning for an employment opportunity. Arriving in the morning, the host at Kern's lead the group to the second floor. Standing alone, watching the stage below, was a middle-aged man with dark hair and a neatly trimmed beard. As the group entered, he turned and gestured to the table filled with food, telling the group to help themselves. He was Sur'kil and always liked to discuss business on a full stomach. He informed the group that he was an independent researcher, and recently uncovered hints and rumors that may lead to an ancient site, dating back to the Age of Demons. Sur'kil wanted to hire the group to investigate, and retrieve a relic that may remain there. After the party agreed, he told them they were heading to the jungle of the Q'barran peninsula and that the Temple of Kha'shazul was inhabited by a tribe of lizardfolk. Fought lizardfolk before finding the temple, released a Girallon from a cage, fought off some young black dragons, explored the top level of the temple. Headed down the well, triggered a trap nearly crushing them, fought two canoloths, ran through a gauntlet, fought a half dragon mummy.
